**Coming soon: Part 3 of Broken Peace!** During my 3rd period as a Guidance aide, I was super bored. I found my writing notebook in my locker on my way from lunch (I have B lunch, so coming back from there, I had to go put my lunch back) So then I started on part 3 during 3rd period!

I’m very excited about this special celebration. We learned about this in German 2 class. It is a 20th aniversary of something and I am doing a projekt on it.

Screee! “Kapp’n, what’s going on?” Merle lurched forward in her seat.

“Haven’t yous heard of anothersh stop? *hic*” Merle sighed. Kapp’n had stopped at the Blue Bar in Forget-Me-Not Valley and blown his money on getting Mixed Punch, bottle after bottle of it, until every last drop of it was gone and he was completely drunk. Of course this happened quite often with Kapp’n, so he was used to driving drunk.

“I kno-. Wait a minute! Malberry! My mom’s pink house! I think I’ll stop here for the night” Merle ran towards the pink house she used to call home.

“Momma? It’s Merle. I’ve come home.”

Merle stared at the boxes being hauled into the moving van. She knew that it would just break Brendan’s heart if she told him before. “Peanut? What in the world are you doing here?” Peanut’s eyes welled up with tears.

“Don’t leave Asterly! Why are you leaving? I thought you were happy here!” Merle shuffled her shoes.

“Peanut, I really was happy here! I finally met a guy who liked me for me! But… Brendan is going to be a father. I’m having a baby. But I can’t stay here. So, I’m moving. I’m going to move somewhere to raise my child in peace. Somewhere where he can’t possibly find me. I’m going to leave a letter in his mailbox before I leave, telling him I left. G-goodbye P-Peanut. I-I’ll miss you s-s-soo much!”  The pink squirrel was crying, holding Merle in a hug.

“I-I don’t want to let go! M-maybe we’ll meet again? W-write me!” Merle nodded.

“Well, are ye coming or not? Me gots a life too!” Kapp’n screamed from his black cab.

“C-coming! I’ll write every day!” Merle ran to the cab, wiping tears from her blue eyes as they streamed down her face.
